INTERNATIONAL FIREWORKS COMPETITION(MIFC) @ PUTRAJAYA ON MERDEKA DAY
It was the eve of merdeka day, and the
fireworks displayed by Japan was postponed til midnight in
conjuction with the National day celebration. Putrajaya was packed.
Me, Edison and Michael got tickets for the show . The venue was the
Putrajaya conventional hall overlooking the city of Putrajaya.
The entire city was
brightly lit. spectaular view it was
From the entrance,
Edison, me and mike board the bus to the conventional centre.
It was our first
time there and we just followed where the crowd went.
The place was huge
and appeared to be well kept.
Did I mentioned the
spectacular view?
Shaped like the
traditional silver belt buckle, the conventional centre was very
colorful that night.
The events held
while waiting for the stoke of midnight was very cheap looking and
awkwardly put together.
So much that I decided not to waste my webs space of those
pictures..
From the
conventional centre, u can see the whole of putrajaya... direct in
front of us was the Prime Ministers office.
It was close to
count down to midnight and everyone waited anxiously for the
Japanese fireworks to begin.
The show started off
after the yelling of Merdeka !!!!
Accompanied my the
music.. it let the spectators awed. Hand phones and cameras were
recording and snapping away too.
The design
The shapes
The colors
The synchronism
The view
It was like being in
another galaxy of stars and lights
and it went on...
.. and on...
and on......
the music changed
and so did the firework patterns...
The sky was filled
with smoke
... but the show
must go on...
and it did for
merely 20 minutes or so
my hands were
weakening and i was trying to keep the camera steady for the shots
Wished I had brought
along my camera stand .... but am glad most of the pics turned out
nice:)
nice :)
I like the colorful
on the right a lot...
the burst of each
firework were illuminating
some colorful then
others....
The show was about
to end...
.. and none of us
expected that it was gonna be this grand.
and I was
wrong....... It was much more grand... the fireworks was so enormous
and it kept going so large forming the shape of a heart.
