Psar Chaa or the old market is located beside the pub street of Siem Reap Town. Its merely a wet market and tho much much smaller then chatucak, the feeling and idea of what to expect from there is the same. There is also a new market situated not far from the pub street, but its much quieter and somewhat caters for tourists. This place isnt that huge, a few hours and you'd covered it.

This is the vegetable section. There was a head of a pig at the meat section, which made me brushed thru that area really fast....

We bought some palm sugar there. sago.

One thing obvious is that there were a lot of bags made from silk. Selling at USD3-USD4, it was indeed a bargain. Got a few for friends and families. Do check out this store number 430 near the gold smith section. They are friendly, and will provide u wif the ones u need.
