Siem Reap   |   Angkor Wat   |   Ta Phrom   |    Bayon   |   Angkor Thom  |   Old Market   |   Food

ok ok.. so I'm a bit particular of the things I eat, being a muslim and on short holiday I usually reframe myself from taking non-halal meat, and this of course includes non halal slaughtered chicken and cow. Pork is a major no no.... no frogs... and other weird animals either.

THE SOUP DRAGON

THE SOUP DRAGON is located at the corner of PUB street.

Not a bad place to start of the holiday. The vegetarian fried rice was not to proud of tho.  3 stars.

KHMER FAMILY RESTAURANT

KHMER FAMILY RESTAURANT

The set of amuk comes in fish, beef and also chicken

Even their breakfast is  not bad.

The AMUK is their local dish. Nice. :D

This place is highly recommended.. we were there 3 times...
5 Stars. :D

T&COFFEE WORLD
LE TIGER DE PAPIER

T & Coffee World is more of a local cafe. Very Normal.
The Pad Thai I ordered for breakfast wasn't that nice. Its a no no.

Lame

LE TIGRE DE PAPIER is french restaurant. Another place to avoid as the food was mediocre and nothing special.

Nothing to shout about

We didnt try the local shops... it was non halal..
the menu looks a bit scary - frogs, pork.
