It was 10 yrs since I've been to Hong Kong. We didnt have much planned up for the trip, just Disneyland and a whole lot of shopping.

We woke up very early, took the morning flight to HK.

The trip was one of the longest we have taken with AirAsia.

Its suppose to be summer, but weather looked gloomy.

The route was new to AirAsia and it wasnt packed.

Heck, it was raining.  Just as predicted as weather.com. SIGH!

We took the airport bus, head to the terminal, went thru imigration

We took the train from the airport to our hotel in Prince Edward. Got changed and roamed HK.

We walked to Flower Market and got our bearings adjusted

Red taxi cabs... very HK.

It was a less scary version of Petaling Street here in Malaysia

Mike taking pic.

HK is busy town. Everyone pretty much walks everywhere

Me flexing my muscles.
Actually pointing to Fa Yuen Street or Sports Street

Ha ha.. guess who I found on Fa Yuen Street?

This pic was taken at a crossroads of 2 NIKE and 2 Adidas store.

Sorry,.. cant resist it. Had to pose here.

Yes Esprit is much cheaper in HK and more varieties too.

Took home a few jeans

Dinner at a japanese restaurant sounded superb

Mike had a seafood noodle or sumthing.

We headed back to the Metro Park hotel near
Prince Edward MRT station

We rested a bit and decided to head back to Mong Kok.

This time my MRT of course. walking was just too tiring.

'There's something about Michael'

Endless street bazaar

Bamboo scaldfolding was still in used. Just like in the movies.

Finding halal food was kinda tough, had to stick to my fillet-o-fish.

1st meal in HK, and it has to be at mc D... grrrr....

Small Public Light buses.

Mike buying snacks from street vendors.

Many many Adidas and Nike stores. @ Fa Yuen Street.:D

Edward was around HK too at the time for fashion week.

A lot of people there.

Some stores were on the 1st floor of the building.

While some stores were in the basement.

Very tired I was

I had Unagi with rice

We passed cali fitness while searching for a local designer boutique.
FYI: Never ask a Hong Kee for directions,
we were confused by 5 different people.

We spend some time window shopping that nite.

We finally got back to our hotel and decided to call it a night.
