ASIA HOTEL which was attached to the Ratchathewi BTS
 
It was also about 2 blocks to the MBK shopping mall.. yea,...
travelling by BTS surely beats the busy streets.
Note that the pink and purple altis are taxis.
 
We did most of our travelling by BTS
Yea.. I'm pretty much a pro.. tho I did sometimes forget the
names of place
which we need to go.. he he... solly solly.... I did ask for
directions but I think
they misunderstood what I was trying to say..
I said we wanted to go to Silom,... so they asked me to go to
Chit Lom... which was different...
Actually wanted to go to Sala Daeng for the street stalls..
It was quite however, I think Siam Paragon had drawn the crowd
there instead.

Mike and me decided to stay in Asia Hotel this time.
Normally I stay at a semi-run down motel in Ari called My
House(Baht600-RM60). He said its convenient and more cozy. Judging
from the hotel rate(Baht1800++), I can see why. Still think it wasnt
value for money tho coz we dont spend much time in it anyway..
despite the 4 star status. It is attached to the BTS Skytrain which
was really convenient.. as this time it was more of a shopping trip.
We wanted to go Chatucak Weekend market, Lumphini night market
(which didn't happen) and simply shop shop in Siam.
