CHATUCAK WEEKEND MARKET

Think we went there on a Saturday..
Despite coming back late the night before. We were able to take the sky train @ 10.20 am
Luckily Malaysia is 1 hr ahead of Bangkok, made getting up easier. Aloysius(Alex bro) joineds the gang.
It was now a group of nine people. :D

Same routine, waiting at BTS after the morning bfast at the Seafood Noodle Stall.

Chatucak was obviously busy and full of tourists.

Surviving the humidity and hot sun while buying stuffs

Sweating it out at Chatucak

Me and alex got separated from the group, hence shopped separately.

Met everyone up again and had lunch among its hundred of stalls

SIAM SQUARE

We were waiting for Larry's Friend to bring us out that nite. Went Clubbin'

We first went to a bar called the Room. We were the only ones there .. ha ha ... :( .. we finally went elsewhere.

Unlike the night before, Bangkok clubs were awfully quiet on Sunday Night. Made new Friends. A Thai, 2 HKs. :)

DAMNNOESADUAK FLOATING MARKET

We took a Van. 1 and half hours later, took a boat to the floating market.

The river had a stench.

All 10(including Jack) in the same boat. Made it unstable and easily tilting from left to right.
Should hav taken 2 separate boats instead. It was a fair 20minute ride,

The floating Market was huge. somewhat a tourist spot. Oh, my super green cow T-shirt was from Chatucak.... :)

Durians, Mangosteens, Mangos, Langsats & Rambutans.... - fruits sold on the boats @ floating market

The Banana Fritters and coconut desserts were awesome, the coconut drink was great too.

The floating market got busier... it was a traffic jam

Walking about looking at over-prices souvenirs.

Oh thats my banana fritters lady and the coconut dessert maker.

Still managed to posed for the camera....

I enjoyed seating and watching the boats go buy. Buying my snacks and appreciating the uniqueness of Thailand.

They had shops by the side of the peer.

Bought more banana fritters :)

Some handicraft being sold at the market

Went to another food market on the way back to Bangkok. Had lunch there too...

Oh we did stop at an old house on the way to the floating market. Jon got a bit too friendly with the snake there.

We ended up at a wooden craft place. Looking at how huge chunks of wood were carved into furnitures and ornaments... sigh.. boring....!!!

An entire huge carving made from a piece of wood

Thats our ride. Pretty luxurious... :)

Next Stop, ...lunch at the food market.... (so hungry)
