Striking a Pose... !

The Grand Palace is actually huge, but it was in the middle of the afternoon and the sun was shining bright(as always) in amazing Bangkok.

It was just sight seeing, showing respects for fellow Buddha devotees and some good pics to be taken there.

Standing Buddha Statue.
That was the next tourist spot we went (accidentally)

Ok. After the grand palace, the next stop was suppose to be Wat Po(Sleeping Buddha), but we were all hot and tired. So we opted to take a tut tut after being offered only 20Baht per vehicle. But according to them, Wat Po was closed at 2PM, and only Opened at 4PM. But they said that the 20Baht allows them to bring us to other places (standing Buddha Statue). Hence we agreed since we needed to do something until 4PM.

Riding the tut tut.

After the standing Buddha Statue, things started to reveal itself. It was a scam. They wanted us to go to a jewellery store! (DUH!) Of which there will get a commission, diesel worth 500Baht. Alex headed the argument, and at the end we agreed to help out. Our Tut Tut driver was willing to give us the ride for free.

So to the jewellery store we went. Of course no one bought anything tho.... and when we were about to leave... The Tut Tut Drivers wanted us to go to three more stops. I was furious... adrenalin rush... shouted at him. Scolded and raised my voice. Everyone was stunned. I wanted to get to Wat Po, Yes or No!!!??? , hmm... well, he said no, I said that no one is to pay them for their ride as we were all clearly cheated. And there were a few exchange of Hands Gestures(middle fingers and stuff).. ha ha... Hence, we hopped onto a taxi and head to Wat Po.

We were tired from the ordeal. So all of us when to the Wat Po massage school for 1 hour of relaxing time.

After the massage, feeling fully refreshed

Wat Po - Sleeping Buddha

Huge and Gigantic it was.

Took a picture at its feet. Made from mother or pearls.

We exchanged 20 Baht worth of coins 1Baht and placed them in the wishing/hopebowls...
