BANGKOK, THAILAND

Joey, Osman, Clement, Ooi, Larry, Jon & Raymond

We stayed at a reasonably priced hotel in Ari. Its really near to the BTS station, not noisy and food was abundance. Ari is located to the north of BKK

Larry and Raymond met us up and the group of six is now a group of eight. We all took a daily pass on the BTS.

We had some time to spent before heading to the gym, so we stoppped by the SIAM BTS interchange and headed to Siam Centre(it was under renovation) and Ma Bu Kong(MBK), the place reminds me of Bukit Bintang in KL. Did some T-shirt shopping for friends there. We then took the BTS from National Stadium to Nana BTS station.

FITNESS FIRST@LANDMARK, THAILAND

Fitness First @ Landmark., Bangkok

Had a great time there...

All happy from the adrenalin rush ....

It was already dark when we got out of Landmark building. Think we headed back home, rested and went to Silom for shopping and also clubbing.

SIGHT SEEING TEMPLE OF DAWN, GRAND PALACE & WAT PO

The agenda the next morning was basically to go for some site seeing in Bangkok. Here we are eating at our regular table eating our regular breakfast. I normally hav the Pad Thai.

_

Again in the BTS Skytrain, making a whole lot of noise chit-chatting

Took the last stop on the skytrain, West Bound, and took a boat to the Heavenly temple of dawn

Everyone seemed to be having a jolly good time on the boat. Seeing Bangkok by boat was something new for me. I also didnt realize that the boat system existed and comparable to the skytrain in the main part of the city. But heck.. Taxi can bring u anywhere in Bangkok.

peer No 8 : Tha Tien is our  stop.

It was sunny and hot, everyone had to wear long pants and shoes to enter the Grand palace later.

HEAVENLY TEMPLE OF DAWN

Nope, thats not it in the background.
Temple of Dawn is situated across the river from the Grand Palace.
Had to take another ferry across, But it was only for 3 Baht each

Walking around, still trying to find the entrance to the temple

Getting some shade at the sovuneir area before continuing the sight seeing

TEMPLE OF DAWN - Picture of the year award?

Picture of the year award too? Raymond & Clement doing the super star look!

Flag of Thailand

The four corners of the place was the same as the building was symmetrical,
so there wasn't much to see there, it was just the same everywhere
time to visit the Grand Palace !
