..: BALI, LOVINA - DAY 3 :..

We arrived quite late in Lovina. Sun sets here at 6pm. Spent quite some time looking for a hotel and ended up with tis one. Me and Alex had to stay at another hotel different from Ivan and Ooi tho the two are closely located to one another. The hotel owner misled us in believing that both rooms belonged to the same hotel. Had some problems during bfast the following morning. ;P

Lovina was pretty quite. Not a happening place. Breakfast at the hotel was pretty lousy. They actually had to go to the grocery store to buy stuff and make our pancakes and french toasts after we ordered them.

Headed in two separate boats to go snorkling. Booked the boats at RP50,000/person

Ivan and Ooi were on 'FRIENDS FOREVER' while me and Alex were in 'MARCOPOLO'

LOVINA

Lovina is situated north of the island. A very quite town nothing much happening. Was doubting Alex's proposal to go there since I dont see any point of going anywhere secluded in Bali.

The hotel was pretty bad but I hav to say that the seafood is fresher here.

Spent the night before playing Chor Tai Tee at a restaurant where we got to know a waitress call Made. Her husband was the one that rented us the boat the next morning to go snorkling.

He spotted some school of dolphins and offered tobring us there for another RP40,000 / person. We discussed and I thought... well, since we are here.. why not.. I dont mind....(i'm a dolphin lover actually).. dreamt of swimming with them some day. :)

Clothes off - hoping to get a tan and we started snorkling 1km away from the beach
No pics tho, didnt get a chance to buy those disposable underwater cameras.
Manage to see some live corals, blue star fish, and many sea water fishes :)

There were around 40~50 dolphins swimming 10m away from us. I could see three dolphins swimming below and aside our boats at one time. Two made a spinning dive out and into the water again and one made a back flip. It was a sight I did not expect to see. Gosh, somehow the trip to Lovina all seemed worth it. :)

Heading back to the beach. Assist the boat owners to push and parked their boats on the shore lines.

Shots taken while heading back to the hotel. (fighting for picture of the year award) ;P

Last few shots before leaving the hotel and heading back to Kuta
