..: BALI, KUTA - DAY 4 :..

After hours of winding road. We finally reached Kuta. Hang out and had dinner in McD in front of Kuta Beach.
Darn. They didnt hav my Chicken Grill Foldover in McD :(

Waited til the sun went down. :) ... a busy street it was.

Went to HardRock to get T-shirt for Zana...and as the sun came down, the monsters came out to play.. ;p

A green monster eating what appears to be an ice cream colored like a cow. The irony was that Bali is mainly occupied by Hindus and cows are considered sacred. They don't eat cows. Yet, having an ice cream that is colored like a cow skin... well, that is sumthin' I'll never understand. But it was delicious tho.. Yum Yum..

We rested before went out clubbing at the pubs and disco nearby. It wasn't that happening on Friday nights, but was ok on Saturdays. Kinda Quiet actually from the 1st time I was there.

Met up with Wa-One that nite at one the bars. Its been almost 2 yrs since we last met.

..: BALI, KUTA & SEMINYAK - DAY 5 :..

Here is where we stayed throughout the remaining days in Kuta. Located on Popies Lane II, its strategically placed near to the Kuta Beach and also Jalan Legian for our shopping needs. Got to know abt it from our fren Wa-One. Also got discounted rate at RP250,000 per nite (RM100). Nice Hotel it was. :)

This monument was built opposite of the Sari Club, to acknowledge those who died in the Bali bombing 2 yrs back. People still send cards and banners hanged on the fences. Dedicated to their love ones that cant be with them anymore today.

Ended up at Petitenget beach in Seminyak. The beach wasn't as nice as Kuta Beach, but the waves were really strong. I was caught in its wave and pulled down under. Scratched by back. All red :(

The Sexy Pics ..... he he ... (or not!). Oh, there was a dog roaming the beach playing beach ball with a guy. I kept freaking out every time the dog runs up to me and offers me the ball for me to play with him.

Relaxing and enjoying the local fruits. The fried 'Sukun' was equally as nice.
The vendors sometimes can be a real nuisance as all we wanted was some peace and quiet.
They didnt get on my nerve but it definitely hit alex's annoyance level at its maximum. No wonder many people stayed in the massage area instead of on the beack. It all made much sense now.

We opted for a massage and stayed til the sun set down into the horizon.

 A few more vain pics

We went shopping that night on Kuta Square, went clubbing and basically concludes our fifth day in Bali.
Oh, we did spot Kok Leong and a friend that nite at a bar. Ha ha, hillarious it was.

..: BALI, KUTA & TANAH LOT - DAY 6 :..

We decided to take the next day easy, planned to finish up some shopping for some frens and wanted to visit Tanah Lot temple by the sea in the evening for a wonderful view of the sunset.

Taking pics every chance they've got whilst walking and shopping on Legian Street . .. :)

Ended up at a nicely decorated restaurant having lunch.

The Mix fruit drink was a must. Even remembered buying some bananas across the street. Yum Yum... :)
We took a cab after that heading to Tanah Lot.

At the gates of Tanah Lot Temple. Spotted Kok Leong again here. ;P

Taking pictures from the hill top for a full view pic of Tanah Lot

Went by the side of the cliffs looking over the ocean and Tanah Lot

Theres basically 2 spots to go and take pictures of Tanah Lot... one was by the edge of the cliff where we were, the other is on the other other cliff. That one has a spectacular view of the sun setting behind Tanah Lot Temple.

The sun was setting. Had to run back down and take pics from the
other side with Tanah Lot between us and the setting sun

Ivan spotted some ducks

The below pic on the right shows people on the cliff viewing the temple as the sun sets down behind it

Hence ended the sixth day........... Time was running out.... ;(

..: BALI, KUTA - DAY 7 :..

We took a morning stroll and did some shopping in Kuta. Spend some time on Kuta Beach to get a tan. Bought stuffs from Rip Curl and Billabong  stores. Even got Ah boy a new pair of cool slippers.

Alex and Ivan spent most of the time in Kuta topless hoping to get a darker tan. But I guess having Copper Tone SPF 4 and spending more time in the water rather than the beach was more effective for me. The rest of the day was spent in Jimbaran. The pics in Jimbaran province can be seen on the following page.

..: BALI, KUTA - DAY 8 :..

It was the last day of our trip. I decided to do some last minute shopping.. hah,... shopping queen I am.. ;P The others roam around Kuta and took some snapshots of the place as well as in the Kuta Sandy Beach Cottages where we were staying. I came back to the hotel around 10 minutes before checking out of the rooms. Made the others worry. Sorry. :(
