RECLININING BUDDHA-  FEB 2002

The reclining buddha was situated beside the emperor's palace. It was under massive restoration work when we were there.

 
The picture above show the charity/wish bowl where people exchange baht coins and place in the bowl all right to the end of the building.


The picture above shows symbols and carved arts underneath the reclining Buddha's feet.


A similar design of the reclining Buddha lies in Ayuttaya. This one was made of stone. Covered with the orange cloth. Anna and Jack showed their respect and prayed at the humongous monument.
