DAY 4 - Kuta Beach, Shopping and heading back to Kuala Lumpur

We arranged for a late checkout with the front desk as our flight was at 8PM at night.

The beach of Kuta is one of the first favorite beaches discovered by tourist. On the south, the beach is fenced by the airport’s runway, which gives you a breathtaking landing experience. The beach stretches as far north as the eyes can see. As short walk away north, waves will invite you to test  your surfing skills.

The waves seemed calmed in the beginning

Somehow my pictures looked brighter :D

YEHAA!!1

The waves were definitely strong.

There had an area for people to tanned themselves

It was enjoyable

I was feeling alright. Took the oppurtunity to get a little tanned.

Mike seemed to be enjoying the strong waves.

I was trying hard not to drown.. ha ha

We left Kuta Beach and headed to a private place by the beach

Think I got a little too much sun that day... ha ha

Alas it was time to head back to KL

It was time to get back to the hotel. Do our very last minute shopping and head to the Denpasar airport and back to Malaysia. We bought a few polo shirts from Ralph Lauren stores. Apparently its made in Indonesia and relatively cheap to get it there. And so we did.

At the airport, the officers took away my mineral water, sun tan oil, aloe vera gel saying that liquid containers larger then 100ml must not be on the flight. They even wanted to take my Bioterm products .... darn... that crossed the line. In the end... I had to squeeze the Bioterm content into a plastic zip-loc bag. Ha ha... ... that left me darn mad.... either than that it was great to have been there, and am glad I was on the way back home to get some rest.
